This is the life story of Jesus, starting from his birth in Jerusalem and ending with the painful visuals of how he was tortured by the soldiers. Bible movies are either historical or religious; this is none of these two genres. This is the adaptation of O’Reilly’s book where he gives his own opinion about this historical saga and it makes it, in a sense, an opinionated movie. This TV movie is likely to spark some emotional response because Haaz Sleiman, a Muslim of Middle Eastern descent has performed as Jesus.
